Watch Description

I beilieve that this watch could be a Dewey as seen in the 1947 adverts' #25 has the discription and #26 has the picture. I am looking at #54 in the advert. Case 35.40mm lug to lug x  23.60mm not counting the crown. I had the dial redone as exact by International.

Is it just the photo or is the watch yellow gold...looks very much like rose gold.

If yellow gold then I agree with the Dewey call.

Admin, I believe it is just the photo because the hands appear to be yellow gold.

I am in agreement with you, if it is yellow then it is a Dewey.

I'll have to vote Cambridge based on the later ad.

Here's the 1947 ad snippet for the Dewey. Click for full ad.  Text is in adjacent ad, but only says "Dewey- Yellow, 17 jewels, $42.50

What if the subject case is from 1947 w/ a movement from 1949?

There's a good point.

Any date mark on the back apart from the serial numbers Dennis?
