Admin   I can't tell how many panel members have actually "voted" nor what the votes are from those who have commented.
Bobbee also asked about deleting this record to allow Mr Daca to enter once he gets the actual watch.  That sounds like a good idea.  The record would have more and actual data when re-enetered.

What will happen to the comments in this thread if this record is deleted so Daca can re-enter it?

Good point DarHin  The comments would be deleted too.  There is no mechanism to "reassign" ownership of the record from one person to another that I'm aware of, unless Admin can do this. One problem may the paths to the root images.  I believe they are absolute (to a particular users image folder), not relative, so I'm not sure how the images would display if the ownership was just changed?

Is there anything in this thread that is worth saving?? It just seem to be taking up bandwidth with out all of the correct information.

Dave can take his own photos when he has it spiffy and ready to enter it. I am sure he will enter the correct info on it and then we can confirm it. I have the ad saved in my files so it can be applied to the new entry.

I'll leave the "worthiness" of the comments to the powers that be. My main point was the technical nuts & bolts aspect of saving the comments if a record is , in essence, transferred to another member.

Obviously, the owner of the watch will want to upload their own pics.

Thanks Will, best if this whole thread deleted. Nothing really useful and I have pics saved if needed. Daca will have best pics with more info.
Bob.

I will re-assign this watch to the new owner.

I also have one of these...exactly the same as this one and the ad but with an "A9" 1949 21J 10BM. The dial is out to restore. I will post when completed...thenit can be called whatever you want because it has a refinished dial but it is an authenitc His Excellency "CC" dated A9 on case back cover and movement. DW
