Purchased about 2007 from online auction site. Watch is 10 C Rolled gold case and bezel and back is push on stainless steel. Dial has luminous hands and markers and is marked as Bulova and Self Winding. The L0 indicates year of manufacture 1950. All original except Leather Strap.

Thanks there are some threads that designate it a Thayer because of Self winding logo but I don't think the Thayer appears until 1952?

Not sure about it being the Duo Wind F - the 1950 ad shows it with normal hands not luminous . My guess is it originally had the expansion bracelet . I have recently bought a 1951 with the original expansion bracelet and that has the self wind logo not the Duo Wind .
