I've updated to 1950, based on the L0 date stamp on the back case.

I think this watch may be CoEd like this

Hello Glenn, welcome to myBulova. Heirloom waches are my favorites, they are just so personal, imagine how may times a day your mother looked at this little gem. Congratulations on having this wonderful keepsake.

I think the watch is a match to the Co-Ed that Jaroslav linked to above. I wasn't a 100% sure that watch IS a Co-Ed, so I would be tentative (not 100% sure) on identifying it as Co-Ed.

Thanks for sharing it!

Geoff

I grew up watching my mom wear this. It was her favorite and now its mine.  Finding out about it is awesome and i appreciate everyone's help.

According to the ads, I don't believe this is a Co-Ed. The central lug is different in all cases except the one we have ID'd as noted above, which is tentative.

Still looking....

I'm at 'Unknown' as I'm in two minds about this case matching the Co-ed.

I considered that one too, which leaves me tentative on tagging either as Co-Ed, perhaps UNK would be better?

Looks to be a good match to the Evangeline; 1950 ad. The unusual band also looks to be original.

I'm with you Ken, Evangeline. Lugs and band in advert. look identical. Nice ad find!
