Except for the hour markers and the sub-seconds track it looks the same.

The artist is showing a stepped lug, as on the subject.

Darren,

was that a vote for 'ALLERTON'?

Hard to tell if the watch in the new ad has this lug detail...and the dial is slightly different.

The watch in the ad has the banding detail just to the right of the little steps in your close up Greg, and as you say it is hard to tell if the ad shows the steps, but it is just as hard to say it does not show them as the definition in the ad is not quite clear enough.

I think subject is the Allerton.

It looks like something is going on with the lugs, but the steps look to be opposite of the subject watch...I would go with tentative Allerton, and just maybe we will find a better ad that will confirm this. The ad date is certainly close enough to the subject watch date.

I'd go 2 ticks for Allerton.

Since this watch would be going from an Unknown model to a model name based on a new ad, I'll simply change the model name from Unknown to Allerton- and we cast ticks.
If this watch had been previously named by model (vs unknown), or there was contention, I would suggest we resubmit to panel for publishing via the newer process.
If folks think I made a bad choice, I'll change it back to Unknown or submit for publishing.

3 from Me - the subject matches the artists rendition of the 'ALLERTON'
