Watch Description

Four Way Angled Crystal. Unsure on the ID on this now which was given to me by someone else. It takes the same crystal as the Treasurer but the real treasurer is the same year with an engraved case. EDIT: 2013.02.25 Changed ID from Unknown to Ardsley

Gary,

That's a rather CONFUSING grouping of models and crystals, for sure!

Evening Star, Kingswood, Nugent, Treasurer, Wembley

CMX343-1, 2, 2A, 2F

RMS140-45

CMX2228 192

HMC223/5C, 5F

Academy Award P, Ardsley, Evening Star, Kingswood, Nugent, Treasurer, Wembley

RMS140-45

CMX2228, A, B, C  192

HMC223/5, 5C, 5F, 5FT

Treasurer

CMX343-1, 2A, 2F

RMS140-45

CMX2228 192

HMC223/5F

The "Treasure" is slightly LONGER, however... (Also see Shawn's commentary, regarding that model.)

Maybe it's the pic or maybe my eyes but the "V" on the dial almost looks like a W??

Nice watch.

We have the crystal specs William (Scott) posted above:
Academy Award P, Ardsley, Evening Star, Kingswood, Nugent, Treasurer, Wembley   RMS140-45 CMX2228, A, B, C  192  HMC223/5, 5C, 5F, 5FT

There's this 1953 ad, also linked in this 1951 Ardsley record, ID'ed as such w/ three ticks from four panel members.
There is a couple other Ardsley ID's confirmed in the database. Another 1951 here.
Looks like subject watch is an Ardsley and the ID slipped through the cracks.
