I bought this at Auction in a lot with many other watches. In my research, I couldnt find any similar for sale or even sold for that matter. When I did look by the date, the Berkshire came up. The only thing I was able to find was an old photo of an ad with this identical watch shown and named CARLA (see photos). The watch is 10K RGP and the watch band is 1/20 12k GF. There is damage to the band as you can see in the photos but I thought I should add it here in case anyone else is searching for it...
Are we saying the same watch on this band is the Carla, and if mounted on leather, it's the Lady Berkshire? Here's the 1951 Lady Berkshire ad from main database.
If that's what we are saying, what do we call Plains example presented without a mount., or Jim's example with an expansion band which doesn't match the Carla ad.
Three ticks for Carla for subject watch. (and three ticks for Bob Bruno's Lady Birkshire on leather mount).
