Beauty case on this gentlemen's automatic early 1950's watch. Great lugs and a utilitarian dial with gold gilded triangle number hashes make this a nice looking watch!
I bought a black leather strap for mine and it does set it off more so than the expansion band. Mine needs some major work on the hair spring before it will be working but I am going to put it up on the site this next week. I agree with Ellerose that it is one of the finer looking Bulovas around for that period.
Ellerose, I bought a staking tool set and am going to learn how to use it so I can build my own hair spring kits. HaHa. I still get a laugh out of the explaination you gave me about spinning hair springs for about 200 bucks. I won't be doing the hair springs but will learn how to stake them to the balance wheel with a new staff.
