Watch Description

10K Yellow Gold Filled Case ; 'Bulova' signed crown ; Overall case measures 35.7 x 21.0mm w/o crown ; not currently running, but repairs soon to come ; Awesome condition and potentially original strap included when acquired. The strap as pictured has 'Bulove 1/20 12K G.F. Top" on one side and "Des. Pat. Pend. S.S. Back - L1" on the other end, so the date code could potentiall mean this is original. The bracelet still retains much of its spring action ; Box also included in acquisition. It has 'Fifth Avenue' on inside top in red silk and felt. I will post extra picture in responses. ;  I believe this to be a " Squadron 'A' " with the 'A' designation for yellow GF. This could fill a hole where there are no 1951 examples. The ads I've seen don't show this exact bracelet.

I also agree with Squadron and the 'A' variant.

Band looks to be original; here is a 1951 ad showing the Squadron with this band:

Wow, you guys are fast !   Nice find of the ad verifying my bracelet is the original. The original owner did not wear this hardly at all for whatever reason, the entire piece is in excellent condition. I am lucky! I tried to upload a picture of the box I got with the watch, but I cannot 'insert' or 'paste' pics, 'image' wants a URL, and I was limited to 5 pics originally... any help? EDIT - figured it out :) Box letters on front no longer have the black paint, so they look white. Box top has the typical 'goddess in gold sunburst' look

I like this model, I've had several over the years.
