Watch Description

Hi all  Can you please help identify this one.  It is a self winding 10CSC 17 jewel movement, marked L3  the inside of the case is marked Bulova fifth Ave. New York 10K rolled gold plated. The case is a screwed sealing ring and the dia of case is 31 mm excluding crown . the dial is a quadrant dial. Have not uploaded pics of movement as to remove it from the case it requires the winding stem to be removed.

Looking through  50's models on lisa's site l think this may be a winchester.

Agree with Winchester. Not sure the shaded dial is correct.

The price lists from 54-55 show two variants, an A and B, and the Jan55 list shows two price levels $71.50 and $75.00 for both variants and the same model number, and then they become $75.00 only in the Aug55 list; 1954 ad stating a black dial option - but haven't been able to determine which variant is assigned to the black dial; ads do not state having the gradiant/shaded dial but there is a hint of lines that would indicate shading may exist or they should just be crosshairs - as seen clearly in this 55 ad; one 1953 ad found offsite at watchophilia.
