Hi all Can you please help identify this one. It is a self winding 10CSC 17 jewel movement, marked L3 the inside of the case is marked Bulova fifth Ave. New York 10K rolled gold plated. The case is a screwed sealing ring and the dia of case is 31 mm excluding crown . the dial is a quadrant dial. Have not uploaded pics of movement as to remove it from the case it requires the winding stem to be removed.
Agree with Winchester. Not sure the shaded dial is correct.
The price lists from 54-55 show two variants, an A and B, and the Jan55 list shows two price levels $71.50 and $75.00 for both variants and the same model number, and then they become $75.00 only in the Aug55 list; 1954 ad stating a black dial option - but haven't been able to determine which variant is assigned to the black dial; ads do not state having the gradiant/shaded dial but there is a hint of lines that would indicate shading may exist or they should just be crosshairs - as seen clearly in this 55 ad; one 1953 ad found offsite at watchophilia.
