Jim, what is the case material and any photos of the caseback?

Case style similar to the Bulova 23 "A" & "B" variants, but with non-luminous hands/dial we should see even numeral markers.

Thanks Jim, is the caseback stamped 10kt RGP anywhere? The few examples of this style I have seen tend to be 10KT RGP in the first years (54,55) then I see mostly stainless cases after that.

I'm at Bulova 23, no variant based on my comments above. Perhaps someone else can find a matching ad.

Still checking.  One ad in the The Bulova 23 series on the main home page shows a black dialed variant, however I don't think its showing the starburst dial.  I think instead of "starburst" with ridges radiating outwords from center of dail, the ad is showing a dial with the concentric ridges in circles getting larger from center of watch.  I'm not finding a single "starburst" dial with radium, so ruling out a variant based on no radium hands/dial may not apply to Starburst dials.

EDIT: I'm now seeing starburst dial w/ radium, and an ad which doesn't state radium dial but seems to show "dots" of radium outside the hour markers.
