1954 Bulova Fleetwood
Found this watch in what appears to be all original condition. The case and caseback are solid 14k yellow gold, dated L4, the inside etched Roman numerals match last three case s/n 451; dial has raised gold indicies and applied numerals, gilt hands; uses the 21-Jewel USA-made 8AC movement that is dated L3; original glass, raised and three-way bevelled; original signed calfskin band with Bulova gold filled buckle; came with a nice leather covered display box with a 14K - $100 pricetag; no hand tag or papers.
The watch required very little work to make pristine and shows almost no wear, which is why I feel it is an unmolested original piece.
Wow, this is a wonderful watch Ken, I love those lugs. I bet this one isn't going to market? I've had a couple watches with this strap, it's one of my all time favorite. This watch really checks all the coolness boxes for me. Can we get a photo of the clamshell display case too?
1954 Bulova Fleetwood - top of the line, just like the Cadillac Fleetwood.
