After a closer look at your ad Fifth, I am convinced that my two watches are indeed Convoy's. They have the unusual curve indenture on the sides of the lugs as does the convoy. Is this a new addition to our database??

I got my photo box and only have to paint and stain it to be ready to take photos but I will be out of pocket until next week as I am gojng to visit my grandsons on Friday and wont be back until Sunday. I will get them on the site soon after that.

Strike that your photo doesn't show curved indentures after all. Guess we will have to wait until I can post the pics.

Yes Will, Jim's subject watch appears to have a plated back and also the numeric markers are more stylized than in Mark's ad for the Navigator. I can't tell if the ad shows a counter balanced seconds hand like Jim's.

aha yes DarHin  I see the angles/stylization on the 6 and 4 now.  I didn't look at/compare the short side of the second hand either- just the business end.

How about a SeaBee 54 ad looks like this watch but cant read the printing to see if it is gold filled or what jewel.

It is a 17 jewel and water proof but that's all I can read.

We now have an ad for a 1954 10k YGP "Watertite" in the DB, although the case is not an exact match for subject watch. We also have a 1954 ad for the "Commodore", waterproof case, 10K YGP, same hands, dial and jewel count, but case and numerals do not match. Both are possibles, but without ad confirmation "Watertite" is closest match.
