Bulova 23 - Strap looks original. Cool watch, great year.

Thank you. The strap is original indeed, but I use a replacement metal one to preserve the leather one. I used to wear a Swiss Doxa watch since 2000, but right now this Bulova is my favorite: small, elegant and very accurate. The watchmaker who cleaned it up also liked it a lot.

Please does anyone know what are the "six adjustments"? What does that mean?

On Chronometer watches it was a sign of quality to see "Adjusted to six positions". For non-chronometer watches, it sounded good to say "Six adjustments". This is somewhat misleading, but does indicate that the watch has been properly adjusted at the factory. It would have been adjusted to heat and cold, isochronism, and three positions. There are quite a few adjustments a watchmaker can make to a watch, and the six were usually never specified.
