Are you able to take a closure clear photo. I have a few candidates, but need more clarity.

Also what is the movement, jewels, case gold, diamonds?

I'm also 100% sure that this isn't the "original" box for this watch! Bulova stopped using this style of box in the 40's.....

Want to weigh in here Geoff?

Well....anything is possible but you could be right. I'd like to see a bit more of the boxes - appears to be inner and outer, along with the papers included. Typically by the 50's, I'd be looking for something in the all plastic clam shell variety. What I see here looks like it could be 40's vintage.

BUT - forget about the boxes - this is a beautiful watch!! I love it!

How many you want???  :-)

Based on my collecting, Long Coffin style (wood based) typically late 20's/ early 30's

This style box, Mid 30's through mid to late 40's (composite mat./ Velvet outside/silk embossed inside) with embellishments ie: Gold style metal "straps" around outer edges. Some plain, no straps.

Clam-shell style (Plastic) Late 40's to early 60's (?)

Everything after 1960's = garbage except for "Special" watches like Limited editions or Jerins "Woody" (insert smart-assed comments here)
