Watch Description

This one's a mystery to me. Mid-1950s automatic with unusual dial and a 17 jewel 10CBAC. (apologies for the poor quality movement shot)

Very interesting dial and very sharp watch.

Unknown for now.

Sea King Dial....Case not yet seen....

Tentative Sea King or Unknown.

I saw a clam shell display case float by the other day with "Sunburst" printed in it. I automatically assumed it was the other 'gooved' dial we see from this era, now I'm beginning to wonder.

Sorry, no proof, I'd say Unknown, for now. The dial, I like that a lot.

Sunburst is a ladies line from the 1960's, Geoff.

Looks very much like the "Flying Clipper" in the 1956 newspaper ad.

'CLIPPER' of sorts, no doubt.

Seems to fit the Clipper footprint.  Unknown for now...just in case that dial/case combo was something other than a Clipper.

Could be the REED. There is no minutes track on this watch, so it could have been cleaned off.

The lugs are a match, so is the jewel count and self-winding. 1954 ad.

It even looks like the Reed graphic above has those two little hash marks at the base of the lugs.
