Diamond dial at 12,3,6,9
Welcome, hyukkoolee - a very cool watch. I like 50's diamond dials and have been puzzling over this one for a while, and find no ads in the database.
It would be easy to just call it a Beau Brummel because it has a diamond face, but I think it is very likely something else. Beau's had 23 or 30 jewels as a rule in this time frame. Based on the lack of jewel count called out on the dial, one would assume this is either a 17 or 21 jewel hand wind. Case appears to be a "open through the crystal", which is also foreign to Beau's.
The high placement of the sub-second dial would seem to indicate the dial is original - not a jeweler modified. It resembles the dial configuration of a "Launcelot" (diamond dial), but that isn't a match either.
The price lists of this time frame call out a diamond dial "Galahad" that was 17 jewel hand wind, and also a "Troubadour" 21 jewel. We have none of either in the database and I find no ads, only price list reference.
There is also the very slight possibility it is a marriage, but I'm inclined to say that isn't the case. I am pretty sure I have seen this one before in the past.
At this point, without more intense research, those are my thoughts and observations.
Unknown for now.

Many thanks to your welcome and thoughtful opinions.
It would be very kind guide to figure out my bulova, recently I bought it from a estate shop.
To figure out my bulova, I've googled for a while and found same model in the eBay only one item , which reads the title as "vintage bulova academy award L6 21J Diamond dial Manual wind watch".
But I'm not sure it is an academy award or not, becasuse I can't find any other academy award like this.
Regarding to jewel numbers on my bulova, I don't know how many jewels in it, because I haven't open the crytal yet. So,"jewel number 21" on my posting is not reliable information.
Anyway, thanks for your thoughtful opinions, again.
I think neetstuf-4-u is in the ballpark with the potential model names.
It being either a Galahad 'C' ($89.50), a Launcelot 'C' ($100.00) or a Troubadour 'C' ($125.00).
Assuming that the Galahad and Launcelot are both 17 Jewels as the Troubadour is listed as 21J but the other two aren't noted with a jewel count.
There are a few other mens diamond models but their price point indicates more diamonds in the dial.
It would be good to determine the movement type and jewel count if possble to help narrow down the model name.
Based on the 1957 Line book it looks like it could be a 1956 Beau Brummel "I" although I am not sure about the Black Dial in the description and slight different hands.. Clearly the photos is a white gold watch with white dial. The ad confirms the Beau came in 21 jewels. I think we are getting close but not an exact match.
