Case & dial feature emulate the 1958 ad for the Royal Clipper. $59.90 New in 1958. Difference being the 2-tone x-dial vs black dial. I have never seen a black option for the Royal Clipper in any of the ads. There is a 1958 that is unreadable for me. You might try looking at the ad in the database. Midnight Clipper sounds like a nifty name for it but I have never seen one advertised.

I disagree, lugs don't match and dial / hands are not luminous as ad states the Midnight is.
