I don't know much about the watch. When my grandfather passed away 8 years ago, I was sent to Wisconsin to gather all of his things and this watch was in his dresser drawer. I have all the original packaging and a service receipt dated 2 / 14 / 69. There is also a Timetone 2 year service certificate that's not filled out and a Bulova Watch Guarantee Bond that's never been filled out. The case says Bulova Fifth Avenue. It's really the only thing I kept of his besides some tools. Any information helping me identify it would be greatly appreciated.
Just on the off chance as you seem to have all the original packaging, there isn't a name anywhere on it is there? Maybe a hang tag or sticker?
Could you please take a photo or two of the boxes, it's sad but we love the old boxes, and it adds to the value! :-)

Hi Mustang, welcome to myBulova. Two things I am certain of, one is that you are most fortunate to have your grandfather's watch. I am a big fan of family heirlooms. I think that to have his watch is simply wonderful.
The second thing that I 'm almost as certain of is that we don't have an ID for this beauty. We have come across one other example but we have not ID'd it either.
I have that same model Bulova and the crystal for it seems to be the G-S 345-10F. Unfortunately I don't have that crystal in my pile. If anyone has that crystal in stock, there's a remote possibility that the package will have a model name on it. I know that you can't make a positive ID from a crystal, but it might help lead to identifying it. Lisa has one like it also and has it ID'd as a Senator, but I don't think that's correct. The correct crystal for this watch is suppose to be faceted like the 50's Duncan crystal, to match the shape of the bezel at the top and bottom, or at least mine is. I would provide a picture of mine, but it might take me a couple of weeks to find it.
