What model could this be? It has M0 on the case back. Powered by a 10BZAC 23 Jewel movement. Came with an original strap. Looks like new! Very unusual.

Cool watch and interesting mystery dial.

I wonder if you could take another pic of the entire movement? There is a discussion in a couple of other threads regarding what appears to be a chevron symbol on the 10BZ movements and I am curious as to whether or not yours has it. It could be out of the frame on your existing pic or underneath the rotor.

Thanks

Wow !

commonly known as the 'MYSTERY DIAL' but did Bulova place the mystery dial into several different models?

The nicest I have seen to Date, mint.

Fantastic watch.  That thing is 52 years young!  I've seen Bulvoa mystery dials, but never seen this beauty.

1960 '23'

So, according to the ad, it's a '23' with what we are calling a 'mystery dial' Now that I see it up close, it is even more interesting than I thought. I have seen other maker's versions with acrylic or plastic discs, carrying the 'hands'. This is a much cleaner, and longer lasting execution, I would think. The plastic discs would often warp with age. I think it is entirely plausible that Bulova put the mystery dial into various models.

Bulova used metal for the dials. I just had one refinished, thouh I'm not sure what metal was used, it is metal.
