NICE ONE, sir :-)

Hmmm... an "MX" style crystal, curving one way? Or perhaps also lengthwise, as the image orients??

Best :-)  Scott

Scott,

The curve is across the bezel.

I have a feeling the wrong glass is in it (acrylic) as the apex protrudes above the caseline.

The crystal shelf itself is flat - an odd ball.

Mark, do you still have this one? If so, is there a case # inside the back and can you provide crystal dimensions? Thanks.

Darren,

21.4 x 19.6  the Crystal shelf is flat.

There are no visible numbers inside the Caseback.

Darin

I just order a CS397 and it is 19.2x19.2 and it is too big.

If you have any idea what crystal this takes it would help me out.

Thanks

James

James,

A possible match to this case could be the CMX325-17E

Bulova Watch

This pictured watch has different dial markers, so I'm not sure if the cases are identical but the dials may be the difference. The crystal package states for variants F G H, which have not been identified as of yet. I also have a Rocket Cylinder SUC that references a 21.8 x 19.4 crystal model RMS 129-78 for the Rawlings A B C D variants. I have one of the SUC crystals and can find it to reference. I also have the GS on hand.  The ad in the listing above is for a $71.95 model, which is stated as the F G H I variants in the 1964 pricelist; the $75 models according to the 1961 & 1964 pricelists were designated as variants A B C D

I would say if you have a white dial with 3 9 12 markers, you may be looking at it being either the F or G variant, which would likely use the GS CMX325-17E (the dimensions from one crystal manufacturer to another are not always the same, and possibly either crystal I mentioned will fit all of the variants)
