Watch Description

Here I have my Vintage 1963 Accutron. Despite countless attempts I cannot seem to identify this exact watch. The serial number reads M82736 “M3”. I have found similar watches with minor differences such as a different second hand design with the Tuning Fork on the end, a spear tip design or flat like my watch but the year is not the same. This is confusing since it seems like there are multiple variations of the same watch design from different years. This one runs and keeps time perfectly and I would love to find out more information about it or even identify what it exactly is.

Update: The case code actually reads “H82736. The “M” was a typo.

Accutrons were first sold to the public in 1960 and the M3 is the date code for the 1963.

Linebook looks to ID your watch as a 1963 Bulova Accutron "206" (black dial).
