Lovely little watch that was given to me when I was 8.  After which I promptly over-wound it, but decided, as an 8 year old that "I should keep this; when I'm big, I'll get it fixed and wear it."  And after losing it in my garage for 15 years or so, I did just that :)  What a smart young girl I was...

Just got it home from the jeweler April 18th, so shiny...   :)

Thank You for the clarification of Your Gender, in reading through the first paragraph I was beginning to get a little nervous....

: )

Do We have an ad to show the Watch as the 'VIVIAN'?

Vivian 1950

Case looks the same, but 13 years newer and different dial...can we get a picture of the case back and movement with the date codes??

AH HA!  That actually made me laugh aloud at my computer; glad I could clarify :)

I've added three pictures showing the back of the casing, the movement type and jewel count.

Case is 1963 and movement is 1962. All good so far, now to find an advert matching to see if they still called it the 'Vivian'

Is anything stamped on the insige of the case back? Not the markings of watchmakers that are etched by hand but factory stampings similar to the outside.

Well, I'll be... That sure looks like the Miss America to me as well!  And I looked at all the ads in the 60's, must have missed the one that counts :)  Will make the adjustment now...

DarHin: There aren't any other markings/stamps in the inside of the case besides the jeweler's marks.

Admin: How can you tell the movement is from 1962?

Stamped "M2" below the word "Swiss" in your last photo of the movement.
