I like this Bulova but I sure can't figure out which model it is. I'm pretty sure te crown is not correct and I'd like to replace it with the right NOS one when I can learn what right looks like. The only problem I have with this watch is the holes for the Spring bars are so close to the case that it's nearly impossible to attach even the thinest of straps. Well, hopefully someone can help me identify it. I've got three more I can't find anything on so they'll be posted soon as well.

Welcome to myBulova!  This is a very nice looking watch.  It might have had a strap that was specific to the watch with the unusual lug length.  I haven't found an ad for it yet.

This isn't the best ad image, but it looks like a match: 1965 ad.

Your watch looks to match the Engineer in that ad. Price is listed at $35.95.

Referencing the pricelists for Engineer models and only one is listed at that price, in the 1964 pricelist...the 'B' variant.

I vote for the Engineer 'B'

I just got one of these and I'm having the same problem finding a band. The springbars actually touch the case! Does anyone have any information on finding a band that fits? I have seen pictures of these with a leather band but I don't know how they got that to work.
