What an fantastic watch. I've always been an admirer of the Spaceviews but am yet fortunate enough to own one.

Unfortunetly, at this time there isn't much more we can tell you about your watch. We don't have any records from Bulova that show manufacture numbers or distribution. I'm hoping one day we might be able to find such information, if it still exists.

Yout 18K gold version is a great example of the Bulova Spaceview. I'm still looking for the variant.

Hello gene451, welcome. Great looking Accutron Spaceview. In Accutron circles this is known as the "Bowtie" case design. Thanks for sharing it.

I am reluctant to call this a Spaceview just yet; we know these are often converted, and there are no ads that I can find to assist with knowing this 18k bowtie case was sold as a Spaceview. There is one 1965 ad showing the 18k bowtie case with a dial. Perhaps more information, such as a case number from the inside of the caseback could help in determining the Spaceview option.

I agree, its hard to say for certain. I'm hoping that one day we'll be able to say for sure what is and isn't a true original Spaceview.

This one as presented has all the correct components to make it a Spaceview.

Matching the case model number to a list of production Spaceviews would be ideal.

Here's a great resource for helping tp determine what constitues a Spaceview.
