Your case number is the same as mine - 2687. The Bulova Case Parts Catalog says they take an 11AL same as your. It also says the Bulova Crystal is #1146-2FA. I don't know about the crystal because mine doesn't have one (NOS Case).

I still don't understand this diamond edge crystal. Does it have a special ring to go with it?

No, it has a faceted cut along the sides of the crystal, when I post the photos of the crystal packet & Black Diamond/White Gold model, I will try to show a side photo of the crystal

Can't be an 'EXCELLENCY' Greg, the Jewel count is wrong.

The GS Crystal pack is indicating the Glass fits Case # 2687 and the 'EXCELLENCY' D.

They are not one and the same.

'EXCELLENCY' - 21 Jewels.

So IMO a tentative ID based on crystal detail confusion.

The GS Crystal is shown to fit 3 Cases.

1146E-2

2687

and the

(HIS?) 'EXCELLENCY' 'D'

1146E-2 is the Bulova crystal #. 2687 is the case #.

Without an ad, Excellency D may or may not be the 2687 case.

I disagree.

If the Glass were for the 'EXCELENCY' 'D' only the 'EXCELLENCY' 'D' would be the only model listed on the GS packet.

The package is showing the Crystal fits 3 Models - Tickers Case number being one of them.

PS.

Bulova Glass # 1146E-2 would fit Case number 1146.

Oh, and it's a cushion shaped case, not tonneau.

Cushion is not a option in the drop-down list...Other is, so it will have to do for now...

Square Case ?

Any way You look at it the 'EXCELLENCY' series of Watches was Bulova's best of the best.

21 Jeweled Movements and higher.
