Watch was a gift from a friend and has been worn once since I received it. I have looked everywhere for information on the watch and can find none, all advertisements I have seen have not had this particular watch present.

BXW is the Swiss to USA import code. there may also be a alpha numeric date code on the movement. I think we have an ad or two for that particular teardrop shaped case but I'm not positive.

http://www.mybulova.com/forums/new-bulova-watch-ads-1960-1969 Using my cell phone makes this challenging. Here is a link to the sixties decades thread. LOCKPORT, N. Y„ UNION-SUN AND JOURNAL, Thursday, May 25, 1967 Counselor "C", Roundo "A" (found one where the picture isn't as good but the lettering is much clearer... it's the Roundo)

Nice find will. I can't read the ad but I'll go with you on this one.

Plains found the original ad, and he was able to read the writting on the name, but the graphic he uploaded was not as clear as the original ad.

Thank you so much, Will!! The back case says that it is an M6 so that would mean that it is a 1966 wouldn't it? If so, I wonder why an ad for the Roundo "A" was not released until 1967... any ideas?!! You guys are terrific, by the way!! Thanks!!

I made a mistake concerning the case serial number in my original post and have since corrected it. The correct case serial number is Y485244, sorry about that.

Rounda 'A' appears to be a match. Will go searching for more adverts.

Hi Steph, welcome to myBulova, nice little ladies watch you have here. Here's the challenge we have with these newspaper ads, we will all agree that this one represents your watch, we just gotta figure out what that word is beneath it!
