'SURF KING'

 not the "GL" as the Charcoal Dial would indicate a differing variant.

Definitely a 'Surf King'.They did come in white and black dials.

We just need to find the variant.

Surf King with possible re-dial? Is the sub second hand missing?

I don't believe re-dial because some surf king models were made in white and black dial, according advertising and prices list. For example, surf king "DW" model. Sub second hand isn't missed, only is very small.

Looking this ad and price list, I would say this watch is Surf King "FW"
