Watch Description

Bulova AEROJET from 1967

Just completed restoration, except for the dial. Case is all stainless steel, marked M7. Dial is marked Bulova Aerojet Waterproof. Has a very nice color to the dial, not sure if it is the original color or now has some patina. Hands were replaced with NOS. Crystal replaced with NOS. Added a brown leather strap that is marked Bulova AEROJET on the back; not the original strap, but goes quite well with the watch. Movement is a manual-winding 11ALC, M7 dated, 17 Jewel.

So far, there are no Aerojet ads in the database for this variant (non-automatic, non-calendar type).

Wow - nice job Ken, right down to 'where on earth did you find that strap?!' That one turned out very well.

AeroJet works for me.

Thanks Geoff, found the strap online recently and it matches nicely, though I've never seen one like this before.

That is such a cool find, never seen one with the matching strap.

One of a kind, Ken.

It is a nice strap, but I'm wondering if Aerojet on dial of watch and strap is a model series, not a model name.  We saw straps with other model series printed on them (Excellency) and the watches ended up having unique model names which were not the name printed on straps.  This question stands whether the strap came on this watch when purchased, was added afterwards, or was found in a shoebox with no "watch" attached.

I think we're done here, Post it Areojet without a variant extention. We may find it later.

I love the Aerojet's straight line lugs and clean, classic looks.  Beautiful watch Andersok.

Thanks Eric, I enjoy wearing this watch. Like you say, very clean and classic looking; color of the dial is different and really catches your attention - well mine anyway...Ken

I'm good with two ticks tentative for Aerojet model name.   Could be a series of watches vs a model name.
Ken, do you remember if there was "Germany" on the inside of the case back (Like Rev Rob's 1965 example)?
