Watch Description

I've had this watch since the late 60's. My wife found it in her jewelry box and I have no idea what happened to the band. As I recall, it was leather and probably broke. The watch runs intermittently and I'm sure needs servicing. The watch is a front loader and I do not have the crystal compression tool necessary to remove the movement. I have the tool on order but it's coming from Korea so it probably will take a couple of weeks. I'll update this listing when I'm able to remove the movement. Because of the front loading case, I assume it will have a split sleeve. Back of case is marked: Bulova, Waterproof, 10 KT R.G.P., Anti-Magnetic, Shock Resistant, F103746, M7. Movement is Marked: Bulova Watch Co., 11ALC, 17 Seventeen Jewels, Unadjusted, Swiss, M7, BXW

Very similar to the Ambassador, just missing the name on the dial...... maybe an early version before they added the name on the fail. This also looks similar but is not named. Watch 'C'.

The Ambassador in the ad above has a date window, and the markers are different to the subject's.

"C" in the ad looks similar, but is in stainless steel, subject is yellow gold plated.

Unknown.

A few close contenders but nothing that's a match. Unknown for me.

My crystal compression tool arrived and I was able to remove the movement from the case. I updated the watch description with the movement information and photos.
