Your watch appears to be the same as this one. with all the markings worn off the rotating bezel ring. Look closely at the back cover, there should be a tiny date code stamped in the flat area between the center logo and the edge of the back, Try below the word "waterproof." It should be an "M" followed by a number. That will date the watch.

If a date code isn't visible, we need to see a picture of the movement and the inside of the case back.

It's a Snorkel model.

Here is a period ad

Watch likely dates between 1965 and 1968.

Certainly falls into the Bulova Snorkel category. We have a number of good examples found here on the Bulova Snorkel listing page.

Yes I know that is a snorkel category but I dont know which one is a "F" model, I saw all the models in this web...anyway I thank everyone and I look forward to opening the box!

I'd like the panel to take a closer look at the Snorkel "F" and "H"

Whilst almost identical there is one main difference I do see and that is the '0' position indicator on the rotating bezel.

One has an black triangle the other is the large lumed dot. Could this be the determining factor between the F and H

The "F" variant is shown below and both images clearly show the black triangle for the '0' indicator.

Thoughts Panel?

OK so upon further investigation we actually have 3 "H" variants in the database and they all have the lumed dot.

So I'm going to say that those with a black triangle are the "F" and those with the lumed dot are "H"

Thus for this watch I'm at 1967 Bulova Snorkel "H"

Here's a link showing Geoff's "H" with hang-tag and lumed dot

We also have this but may just be the advert using the existing "F" printing.

Stephen, I agree. It's also possible that the dot/triangle may also be based on year of  the watch, with variant letter changing to reflect it.

Based on info available, I'm inclined to also call this one

Snorkel "H"

Yes, 1967 Bulova Snorkel H will be a good choice.
