Watch Description

Hello to everyone who will look at this watch,

I have been looking for the year this watch was manufactured and it's name, I have not been able to find anything.( The year posted is due to the symbol on the watch movement and its corresponding year, but I'm still not quite sure if that is correct)  If anyone has information on this watch or can lead me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.  Thank You

Maiden Lane again....

This is interesting for several reasons, not the least of which is that Joseph Bulova must have been aware of this. I suspect it was under license to Waltham? Regardless, I have never seen one, but I am not a Waltham collector.

edit: Here is a picture of one in a Ditisheim watch, with the ratchet wheel marked 'Depollier Shock Absorber'.

Never seen one in the flesh.

I think Depollier was marketing his own watches by 1925, as the adverts show.

Here is one of several I found.

Gothic Watch co. also released their patented "Jar Proof " shock absorber system in 1927.
