First set of pics are the "Before" pics, as-purchased off ebay. Watch is currently undergoing restoration at Bulova. Have purchased Speidel crocodile-grained brown/red leather band for installation upon return from Bulova. Condition before restoration was decent, but somewhat lacking. Dial is near mint, case and crystal scratched. Automatic movement works well, but date function seemed not to be working. All watch hands moved freely and correctly, sweeping as intended. Interesting note: This is the only Bulova I have seen with this pebbled texture on the dial. Does anyone know how common this feature might be for late 60's or early 70's Bulovas? UPDATE: Watch is now back from Bulova. They did a VERY nice job getting everything working, replacing the crystal, and polishing up the case. I have added a Speidel alligator-grain leather band in a reddish-brown to compliment the gold face and case. She winds and sets perfectly, date changes right on the button. Overall I am extremely pleased with the restoration and service Bulova provided on this one. It's not mint-showroom condition, but it is very, very presentable, and is now my primary dress watch. The first 3 images below were before the restoration, the last three are after. Thanks for all the help identifying this one, and for the advice on getting it in top shape. I'll be hanging onto this one.
