Great watch.  Great band. ID'ed as a 1970 accutron, with or without an ad, it is three checks from me.  Now if you want to discuss the merits of this generic class of root ID model names, that's a different story.  Entered as it is now though, and without rules, guidelines or working definitions of what constitutes a three check confirmed, this is based on my opinion.

Confirmed as a 1970 Accutron, but isn't that like listing a Watch as a 19** Bulova?

The ID can't be wrong, but it isn't quite correct as it does not identify a Model, only the brand.

abstain.

Most Accutrons are only ID'd as a model number, this one probably should be ID'd as a 1970 Accutron 2181, but it may have a catalog number that is yet to be discovered like many of the late 60's, 70's and beyond watches.

1970 Accutron 2181 would get 3 stars from me, and a very nice example with a super band at that...
