Watch Description

Well as I mentioned in my other "add watch" thread, there will be another Bulova. Another Ebay buy, last minute decision. No time to research but I liked it. So I made an offer (bid) an it was mine. Sold without bezel but even without bezel it looks very cool. Although on its way from the States to the Netherlands I would like to share it with you, any information on the watch (and missing bezel) is welcome. Take a close look at the dial, the markers, awesome.... As I mentioned in my other thread, I have a weak spot for 70's era watches... This one is how it's ment to be :) Waiting for the watch to arrive, seller has great photo's (much better than I can make) so for the time being we have to do with that, real time photo's or info, we have to be patient. I did want to wait to add this watch when the item arrived, but I was just to exited. sorry for that. If this is a problem I will add the watch when it arrive.

Another fine Bulova 23. Don't know what variant but it is very distinctive, hope you can find a bezel for it.

Similar case shape and dial style/function as this 1970 Unknown watch.  Only close, but its a start.

I was expecting the 11ANACD 23 jewel movement to have a day/date display.  All 11ANACD movements/watches we have in the datebase which are 17 jewels have only calendar function.  The 23 jewel example(s) have day/date.

Nice looking watch Forester. I can't imagine how this beauty was separated from it's bezel, it will be a challenge to find a suitable replacement.

To Will's point above, I rather suspect it is the same watch family but in yellow but I'm not sure we'll ever know.

Difficult to ID this one as anything but Unknown, considering it's current state.

Possibly part of the Bulova Sea King family.
