Hello hyfly, welcome to myBulova. I'm excited to see your watch. I think heirloom watches are very special things. To have this keepsake from your grandfather must be very exciting for you. For us it is exciting to see a Bulova watch that was gifted to a Bulova employee in Switzerland, where this watch was probably made.

Can you tell us what your grandfather did for Bulova and on what occasion he was given this watch? Do you have any papers or proclamations that he received with the watch? Is there a display case with it? Is it possible to see a close up photo of the movement? Does it say SWISS below the six marker?

I think I see a date code "NO" on the watch so 1970 is the correct date. While I don't find an advert that shows this particular model, it is likely that it was only made for the European market. As most of the adverts we have on-site are specific to the North American market we probably won't be able to name it for you but are very glad you shared it with us.

Is the watch stamped N0 or X0 ?

I'm thinking it's post 1980.
