1971 Accutron "249"
Hello everybody,
I got this watch from my grandpa. Unfortunately, he has pass 10 years ago so I can't ask him little more details about the watch. I remember that he told me that it was a present from some world congress of bank directors in USA between in early '70.
Does anyone have same one with this type of bracelet and this initials on a back of a watch or know any history about this model?

The only real history we would have is found in out adverts, as they are our only source of knowledge of the Bulova/Accutron brand. The band looks like a Spiedel Twist-O-Flex which was wildly popular in the 1960's and 70's. I can't recall seeing one with two colors, it looks like it might be original but we really have no way of knowing. Congratulations on having a wonderful keepsake from your grandfather!
