Watch Description

Here's an interesting newer Bulova Pocket Watch, dated N0, or 1970, but with the movt dated N1. The movt itself is a 17j  16AC, which is the venerable Unitas and later ETA 6497. It has shock protection, and is an excellent example of a modern quality movt in a pocket watch. The same ebauche was used by Panerai until recently, and you will find it in large size wristwatches by various manufacturers.

The plates are Gold ep.

I would be good with the Buckingham "B", 10k Yellow with the same textured dial.  The bow is different than the subject watch, but those are like bands...made to be replaced...

The bow on the watch appears to have some engraving on it.  Its like it doesn't "match" the rest of the case. The case is pretty plain-no engraving- so the bow could be a replacement.

Maybe not the Buckingham "B" but another variant would be my ID. Variations may come down to the chain holder/crown guard (not sure of the technical name)

Generic Buckingham for me.

I'll have a closer look when I get back to the store on Tuesday, the piece is in very good overall condition, but it is possible the bow has been changed. I didn't get that impression from it, but a close examination might reveal some clues.

Upon very close examination, the bow appears to be original, there is no evidence of a repair or replacement.

Unknown for me.
