Watch Description

I am pretty sure this is a 218 day/date. Have to pin down the version. I picked this up at a recent auction. Mainly because of the classic 70s look and the watch band. Just take a look at those Accutron links. I love it. It does work, well it works but does not keep time. Another one for a service I think.

WOW!! What a band. That is some nice find. I have the watch but not that fantastic band, I'm jealous.

Outstanding band!

Accutron Day & Date for me too. Cannot find a match for the model number.

Accutron Day & Date from  me too.  That band is killer.  I'm guessing the band came with the watch, but that's just a guess.  I bet the band came on a couple models, as opposed to an option at the jeweler after purchase.  Nice

Day and Date.  Here's the thing with watch dealers of the day.  That watch probably walked out of that store new with that band.  Did it come with the watch as original "dunno".  The salesmen used to upsell the accessory band just like they do now days.  Very very nice.

I think we have a ad for this one...have to do some searching...and that band should be marked "Duchess" on the clasp...if you want to repalce that gawdy band too...send it my way with the Corfam ; )

Lol, man you don't ask for much do you :)  The band is Marked. CHAMPION - stainless Steel U.S.A. - 14 Kt GF Trim - To the side of this is a triangle with 'JB' within - Other side of the band is '5-74'  MAy 1974 maybe? - I think that I will pass this watch on via our favorite auction site to fund restoration of other watches
