Watch Description

Any info on this watch would be appreciated.  It seems t/b rare as I cannot find any pictures of it.  Case is 14k gold and is clearly marked 'Bulova' w/ deep engraved letters. Also stamped is N3 on caseback and movement.  Also stamped on movement is "Patent, Bulova Watch Co., Swiss 13 thirteen jewels, unadjusted    n3 and then lower 2301. The battery you see was in watch at receipt and I have not done anything to the watch.  I put above 'Cut corner' as to shape which may not be correct. Also band is dark blue and have no idea if this is an original as it is not signed. History on this watch:  It was given to me to determine as best I can any info from a woman who said she gave it to her husband (now deceased) and he never wore it.  She initailly wanted me to put ina battery as she was quoted $350.00.  I explained the reason for this as it needs t/b cleaned etc. There is a possibility that after my investigation that it will be for sale but this is only on loan to me at this moments.

Thanks Ken (theocat0)

These watches are seen as the Bulova Accutron 2301 (depending on the type of movement), in the sense that both the case and the movement are labeled N3, it is a watch from 1973

Can you confirm its a mens size watch and not a ladies?

The movement looks to be what they called a 'Mini' Accurton.

No, cannot confirm.  It was given to a man and the woman I am investigating it for says it's a man.  By today's sizes of watches it would appear t/b a woman watch but men's watches back then were smaller.  Size is 33.56mm X 33.31 (includes stem).

My first thought was also that it's a womans watch, based on the case measurements I would now say it its. I don't really see a match in our advert db so I'm going with Accutron (Unknown) for now.
