Watch Description

i believe this to be a "Senator" but cannot find one like this in the database. Ha N4 on movement and MLB and 7497 inside case back. Dial has lost its lettering and looking a little tatty. Along with the crystal. Came with the original bracelet. How would one describe the shape of the case? I have stated "cushion".

Art, I'm stumped. The case looks Jet Star, the dial Senator. Alas, I don't find anything showing them together.

Is there an import code on the balance? If not, it's a European model.

The Bulova import code, BXW, should be stamped or engraved on the balance bridge. If it isn't then it was not for import into the US. This should indicate a model that might not appear in any US ads but more importantly, some of these European or International models do not have names.

thanks Reverend Rob. i did notice the BXW on the snorkel i listed here recently, this unknown watch has no such stamping. Perhaps it will remain a mystery.
