Additional Information:

Hi i bought this watch in an auction about 25 years ago.

The watch has recently been to my jewellers who removed the original USA Battery

and inserted a new battery, the watch was set by a push mechanism on the side as it

is a crownless type.? The watch is working fine, and keeping accurate time.

When i bought the watch the Auctioneer suggested this watch was the first watch

Bulova had made that was battery operated?

Some watch details.

The back cover has two main numbers .8304032 & 6-543417.

The back cover inside has the number.12119.

Inside the watch the letters EE with an M beneath--&  E with an SA beneath.

UNAJUSTED 5 JEWELS & the numerals 2460.10.

The watch is an Octagonal shape.Has it's original strap,i have kept original battery.

I have scanned several sites including your excellent site but can't find this watch?

Anyway i will leave it to the expert's.

Thanks Jim.

This watch has a date mark on the case back, P0.
This dates it to 1980.

Hi Jim, nice watch. As Bob states above, your watch is a 1980 model, based on the date code (could you please update the year on this record?). It isn't exactly the fist battery operated model Bulova made as they began production of the Accutron series in 1960. By 1980 Bulova wasn't  'naming' their watches but identifying them by a model number, which you might find in very small print below the 6 marker. If there isn't one, we will classify this watch as an "Unknown" model. It might be possible for you to get further information from Bulova, the watch is new enough that they might still have something on it (did I just call a 33 year old watch NEW??!!) Thanks for sharing it!

Nice shaped case.  I agree 1980 based on P0 on case back.
It's unknown to me, but like Geoff says, you may be able to get more info on model name/number from Bulova.  Then I may have a name for it too.

Sorry, I can't comment as I focus on pre 1965 Bulova's. Unknown to me.
