Watch Description

Here is a easy one...1938 Bulova President with a 7AP 21J movement stamped with a Crescent moon. The 10K Gold filled bezel & back are near perfect, just some scratches to the bezel that I need to work out... usually the back is worn through on the edges and the lug ends are shot on these, the bracelet is a JB 12K Gold filled adjustable type and is also near perfect. Has both the inner & outer boxes and paperwork and I would say that the whole package is original.  I bought this watch last weekend on the bay, and thought it was a worn out Phantom due to the sellers poor pictures, I was quite surprised when it arrived!

EDIT: actually I want to say President, but do we actually have an advert showing this exact combination of dial, movement and case?

Tentative for me.

I can see that display box getting a real good work out :-)

SO  YOU'R the one I was bidding against. I really wanted that watch.

Bobbee taught me a valuable lesson, if the pics are crummy then it is probably a great little watch. Boy was he ever right.

Nice snag Greg.

You were right man.. that thing is sweet.. hell that box is worth $50-100 depending on who needs it.

I do believe we have an ad in the new decades for this dial.  Though... if not.. I know I've seen them in my research I just maybe didn't grab them.

Sorry John,

Actually I am surprised that I won it, my max was $65.00 and it went under that, I was more interested in the box...Figured the case would be worn through like they usually are and I would just flip it and keep the boxes...sometimes you do ok on crappy pictures, and sometimes you don't...

Admin,

Doesn't the ad in the post match?

No subseconds or engraving on that one, but I think the ad I posted is correct...
