7j 10 BC with a 1948 date code found in a Walton model.

I have just purchased a1948 ,7jewel 10BC is it agood movement compared to the 15 and17 jewels tank watch models,I'm  curious??

Hi Demetrius. The 7 jewel 10BC is a good movement. It will just require servicing more often than the higher jewel movements because there are more pivot points with metal rubbing against metal which creates more friction than metal rubbing against a jewel.
