I have a watch with that movement.  I need a center wheel and cannon pinion for it.  The one in the movement is frozen up so the hands cannot be set.  Anyone have some parts?   Peter

Hi everyone,

I have just found and purchased a lovely Bulova 23 jewels 1969 in the US with the 10CPACD movement, in great shape...  but can' t find any info on it, not even with the good old RANFFT website.

Does anyone know if it is equivalent to an other Bulova caliber ? I know that the date change is 24:00 - 22:00

thanks

best regards

Roby

This is an in house USA calibre, and will be related to the base calibre, like 10CPAC, but I don't have any records of this being any more basic. It is also related to the 10COAC.

30 jewels, Kif Flector Balance shock setting, with KIF Duofix settings for 4th and escape wheel. A very good quality movement. This was the final incarnation of these if memory serves, and the Quartz crisis dominated the 70's as cheaper watches became available. Companies like Bulova, that had developed their own in house movts, could no longer justify spending millions to develop any new mechanical calibres. It is worth noting that many big brands went extinct in the early eighties, and Bulova was ahead of some of them in many ways.
