My buddy gave this watch to me. It appears to be a 1948 Cambridge in yellow gold . The movement is an 8AD 17J movement with "48" date code. The dial is two tone with the outer and inner parts of the dial changing from alternating light to dark depending upon the angle of view. Very cool watch. I also include an ad from 1948.
1928 Bulova Cambridge presented in white and yellow gold with hinged lugs. Mounted to a beautiful old Gemex mesh deployment bracelet. Inside case back is marked 14 k Gold Filled and bears the Jan. 11, 1927 Pat Date.
I beilieve that this watch could be a Dewey as seen in the 1947 adverts' #25 has the discription and #26 has the picture. I am looking at #54 in the advert. Case 35.40mm lug to lug x 23.60mm not counting the crown. I had the dial redone as exact by International.
