Great find Mark!!!

I think this is the Lone Eagle transition from series II to series III. Note the engraving pattern on the bezel sides are the same as the series II. The 1931 Lone Eagle has the same shape case, but with what I call the bowling pin & ball pattern. Let's get Steven involved & get his input.

Below is a 1931 Lone Eagle for comparison.

Wayne,

Its missing any carving on the horizontal sections of the bezel (?) but the vertical carving seems to still be excellent, dial looks good and the hands seem original and excellent also. There's some really nice stuff coming from Ma and Pa Midwest America.

Actually had My eye on this one as a parts donor. lol  Too nice for that I think....

Back to the hunt.

Mark, GOOD ONE... Looks like a "plain" bezel version of LE 3, Circa 1931? I may have one glass left?? (That's a rare  BB "A" prefaced "cut corner rectangle" glass, BTW...)

And It may well have the same 17J movement, to make it more challenging??? if not... then definitely another one to be determined????

Best :-)  Scott

Scott,

Place a hold tag on that one. I'm going to be contacting You with an order shortly,  most likely after the Holiday.

10AN Movement is a 21J version, just to make things interesting.

Hey Mark,

I believe I still have 1- 2 LE3 glass left? However if the same crystal fits the Allerton and Edwin... then I suspect NOT FOR LONG!? And out of some 2000 +/- Bully crystals... I scored I think a total of 4- 5 of them!? (i.e. QUITE SCARCE, indeed...)

Best :-)  Scott

Thanks Scott,

and thanks for the 'ALLERTON' and 'EDWIN' reaffirmation. This Watch needs a Name!

I'll be sending an order soon.

Hey Mark,  I have only (1) of these left... unless I can have David "cut" some, from similar (like proportioned?) glass? So I'll pull it OFF eBay! Luckily it's a Fulton glass... so I now have the correct LE3 crystal part no. IDs, for GS, PF, BB and Fulton!
