Jim,

You got 3 from me, the back is marked "Watertite" and the movement is consistant with many I have seen.

Wish I could say the same Jim.

In each of the 6 + ads for the 'WATERTITE' dated 1950 - 1955 the text describes a Watch with a Chromed Steel or Steel Case.

According to the ads the Watch becomes the 'MAGELLAN' around 1955 and maintains its Chromed Steel Case, also the lugs differ.

Not the 'WATER TITE'.

IMO

Do you have an idea what this is? It is 10kt yellow gold plate and watertite. Guess i need to put it as an unknown until and if it's id can be made.

bulova did put the watertite back and stamped watchproof watches watertite.even if the watch wasn't a watertite watertite..i guess it was more of trademark for all there waterproof watches

I would have to agree with Fifth,

The 10K RGP case and back would be more of a dress watch...maybe a Clipper of sorts?? or something we don't have a ad for yet?
