LOL! Sooo funny, and droll with it Will!  Not quite, sorted it out on my own, trial and error, with quite a heavy emphasis on "error"!

I'm all out of ideas then, unless it's the old LE case with a new movement.

The new 'BANKER' is shown along side of the 'MINUTE MAN'- the 'MINUTE MAN'  is also seen in various ads with an engraved bezel.

ad Dated 1937.

*note: RGP Case.

'BANKER' - engraved variant.

There is no Banker engraved variant, that's the Ranger.

The Banker and Ranger were essentially the same watch, the Ranger being engraved with a leather insert band.

It's not a LE IV.... they were flatter.  This watch has some curve to it.

I'm still saying Ranger.

Could be, could be, apart from that verdammt Stainless back. : )  Definitely not the Banker, as all the ads right through the DB are plain bezel.

'RANGER' has an obscured 6 Dial.

Dial matches the 'BANKER'

.....carry on.

Identical to "CHIEF"
