Dial: raised gilt Bulova & Arabic numerals, recessed subsecond w/ black printed inner minute and subsecond track, partially obscuring the 6, stamped SWISS
Movement: 10AN 15 jewel Unadjusted Bulova Watch Co. SWISS (SN) 562478 T date symbol. Outside Case Back: (SN) 106658. Inside Case Back: Bulova Quality 2112907. Case measures: 36.5mm x 25.6mm (not counting crown). Crystal measures: 15.8 x 24.2mm. Lug gap: 14mm. The band is only marked "MAXIM", and is showing lots of brassing. Almost looks like it's chrome plated, but I guess it could be gold plate. The pattern on the links of band are very close to those on the watch bezel. but not exact. If the band didn't come with the watch, it sure looks like it could have....
So for consistency, should this one get changed to Ranger also? Not much difference between this record and the other Unknown changed to Ranger.
In reply to That being said... I still by plainsmen
Plains - so the subject watch and the other 1932 White Ranger should be unknown ya think? I don't think there are ads for this color (white) and the ads for yellow are from 1934 or later. Is that right?
In reply to I've found 3 names associated by DarHin
Thanks DarHin I don't think it's the Maxim :) ..and don't know what the Nathan Hale looks like. We have case dimensions for this watch and some later (yellow) Rangers I can compare, but I thought we had done that comparison and they were similar enough to be "same dimensions".
EDIT: None of the other rangers on site have case dimensions to compare to....

The earliest Ranger ad we have is this 1936 one.
So, the ad has the Ranger from 1936 with the minutes track on the outside edge of the dial, the 1932 ad for the Maxim has the minutes track in the middle, like the subject.
Just the date alone gives a match, without the dial info.
Bobbee...that ad was referenced by Fifth a few comments up, and was in the 1934 section of the ad dababase. I see the file name of the ad graphic also contains the 1934 date. I just checked ad database, and don't see it currently listed in 1934, so I'l check 1936 ad database.
EDIT: And checking the url of the ad file Fifth posted, it looks like it was in the 1934 database at the time he placed the link?
